Pre-Thoughts
Hi, Cmdbxx here with another review. I have never played a game by woodchuck so I didn't know what to expect. After looking at the starting picture I knew it was going to be good. So first of all there is an awesome title. I mean who can come up with that good of a title. Then I looked at the description. It makes the game look very suspenseful and hard. After that I took a long look at that opening picture. It has a creepy red glow to it (which only made me want to play it even more) with a bunch of torches. I think to myself: how did he get that horrifying (in a good way) glow. I honestly just sit there in awe for about half a minute. Then I actually started playing the game.

Review
The starting puzzle is perfect. You already get that scary feeling and then boom. You are already losing health. I loved that puzzle because it showed me that you have to make sacrifices to achieve greatness. That brought a symbolic thing that I haven't really seen in a lot of games. So anyways you see yourself trapped and losing life so you grab what you need and get out of there. I can really connect this game to star wars. In both thing you have to channel your energy to control the space around you. Okay so I pass that puzzle. Now the next puzzle you actually have to make preparations for. If you go in there to brashly then you will end up paying for it. You must examine your surroundings so you remain safe. Again the scenery is great on this one because there is lava which shows it is dangerous. Before I begin I want to compliment woodchuck on his amazing job with scenery. Now I think in order to really enjoy the game you need to be surprised.
The scenery in this game is downright amazing. I really love the dark, scary, and creepy feeling you get when you look at the scenery. I am a big fan of horror movies so that is a major plus. The other part I really like is how when you get lower it gets darker. That is how it is in the real world. Take coal mines for an example. The farther you get down the harder it is to get light.
The action in this game is really bad. All we get is a few stinking vampire bats and some easy thugs. And there is barely any room for them to fly so you can kill them easily. I look around. I see puzzle, puzzle, puzzle, vampire bat, thug, puzzle... What this game really needs is a couple hard enemies. I wish there would be certain points where there is a huge wave of enemies. The power-ups are unneeded so I thought that those do not deserve a category.
The puzzles and traps are quite good. The puzzles are all good and they make you think. I love to have to think a little. Do you know the "hot blocks puzzle"? It is where you run across some hot blocks and lose some health. That is so stupid. You don't need to think all. The traps are amazing. They so easy to get into if you are not thinking, but so easy to avoid it you examine your surroundings. In this game I think woodchuck has a good sense of what the players are going to do.
Suggestions
- Add some more enemies
- Use more puzzles

Is This Game Feature Worthy?
No, close though. It had great puzzles, traps, and scenery. It was a great game with a lot of great qualities. It is also the perfect length. This game is just right for people who love puzzles not action.
This has been a Classic Review!
